Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-28

This Privacy Policy describes how Genrupt Inc ("Genrupt", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Genrupt — our website, applications, Chrome extension, and AI content generation services (the "Service").

The short version: we use your content to generate the results you ask for — not to train AI models, and never for our own marketing without your permission. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email address, and authentication details (sign-in via Google or email link).
  • Content you provide — product images, reference images and video, audio recordings, prompts, product details, and brand assets you upload or enter to generate content.
  • Connected-service data — when you connect Amazon Seller Central (SP-API), Amazon Ads, or use the Chrome extension, we receive the listing, review, and advertising data needed for the features you use. Extension scraping runs only on actions you initiate.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We receive transaction records but never your card number.
  • Usage and diagnostic data — log data, device and browser information, IP address and the approximate location derived from it, and product analytics described in Section 5.

2. Voice and Face Content

Some features accept recordings of a voice or images of a person (for example, voice references for audio generation). We treat these as sensitive:

  • Voice reference recordings and face reference images uploaded for audio generation are stored privately and shared with the AI provider that processes them only through time-limited access links.
  • We use them solely to fulfil the generation you requested — never to identify people, build biometric profiles, or train models.
  • Only upload a real person's voice or likeness if you have their consent. Do not upload content depicting minors.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide the Service — including sending your content to the AI providers that fulfil your generation requests.
  • To authenticate you, maintain your account, and provide support.
  • To process payments, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.
  • To understand product usage and improve the Service.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Service Providers and AI Processing

Genrupt fulfils generation requests through third-party AI providers and operates on third-party infrastructure. Depending on the features you use, your content and data may be processed by:

  • AI model providers — fal.ai (a hosting platform that routes requests to models from Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Kuaishou/Kling, ElevenLabs, Sync, Alibaba, Topaz, and others), OpenAI, Google (Vertex AI and Cloud Vision), BytePlus (ByteDance), Anthropic, Black Forest Labs, Runway, and RunPod.
  • Infrastructure and storage — DigitalOcean (hosting and file storage).
  • Payments — Stripe.
  • Email — Resend.
  • Analytics and reliability — PostHog and Sentry (Section 5).
  • Product data — a product-listing data service that retrieves the public Amazon listing information you request by ASIN or URL.
  • Scheduling — Cal.com, if you book a call with us.

These providers process data in the United States and, for some AI providers, in other regions including the European Union and Southeast Asia. We share only what is needed to deliver the feature you are using, and providers are engaged to process it on our instructions.

5. Analytics, Session Replay, and Error Tracking

We use PostHog for product analytics, including session replay that captures how the interface is used. Text you type into inputs is masked in replays. We use Sentry for error tracking. These tools help us find and fix problems; we do not use them to sell or share your data for advertising.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and as needed for legal, dispute, and accounting purposes afterwards.
  • Uploaded and generated content is retained so your projects keep working until you delete it or ask us to.
  • AI providers may retain request data for limited periods under their own policies (for example, for abuse monitoring) — typically 30 to 90 days.

7. Sharing of Information

We share information only with the service providers listed above, with third-party platforms you choose to connect, when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data until updated).

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can delete individual projects and uploaded content in the product.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data — including full account deletion — by emailing hello@genrupt.com. We honor these requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.
  • You can disconnect integrations (Amazon, the extension) at any time, and uninstall the extension from Chrome.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we handle, including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage with time-limited access links for sensitive media. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children

The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will notify you before it takes effect.
