What exactly is a “video” in these prices?
An 8-second 720p Seedance clip — the industry benchmark clip every AI video tool prices against. Longer clips, 1080p, and other models use proportionally more credits, at rates shown before you generate.
Am I buying credits, or buying videos?
You use credits to pay for videos. Your plan determines the rate you pay per video, with no limit as long as you're on that plan. You can buy however many credits you need, and they never expire. The higher your monthly tier, the fewer credits you spend per video.
Do my monthly credits roll over?
Plan credits refresh each billing cycle, like every subscription. The difference is top-ups: any credits you buy on top are yours forever — they never expire, even if you cancel the plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Every plan is month-to-month — there is no annual contract and no discount pressure to lock in for a year. Cancel whenever; purchased credits stay on your account.
If I cancel, do I keep my plan's video rate?
You keep your rate until your plan's cancellation date. After that, you can still use your credits at the pay-as-you-go rate — and if you resubscribe, your credits go back to that plan's rate.
Do I need a subscription at all?
No. Every Genrupt account can buy credits pay-as-you-go at standard rates with no plan. The video plans just get you a much better per-video rate.
